  • 2 new HUGE Eco-towns


    NOTE: The views, comments and links contained in this Blog regarding the proposed Eco-towns, does not represent the opinion or policy of Whitley Parish Council.

    A proposal to build 2 Eco-towns (Willow Green and Darringfield) consuming Kellington, Eggborough, Darrington, Womersley and Cridling Stubbs are planned to be built by Gordon Brown. It is proposed that Willow Green will have up to 15,000 homes (double the size of Selby) and Darringfield to be even bigger with up to 20,000 new homes. Both proposals are backed by local MP John Grogan. What are your views?
